**Forgive me if you seen this before but I thought it was good but I've had fun with this one**
Who and what were you in Middle Earth? The Barrow Downs can tell you - The Barrow Downs The Middle Earth translator will take your name and tell you what you were when you lived in middle earth and give you your elf, hobbit, drawf and orc names according to the Red Book of Westmarch,. Orc names can be pretty hilarious if not interesting - ie, my brother-in-law Wazbag the Sleazy! (Hhhmmm...) Note: Pending on how you put your name in the translator you will get different results (ie- using full middle name or initial or not at all, you can get several different answers) According to the Red Book of Westmarch, In Middle-earth, I was a Popular Gaffer (popular no less) My Elven Name is Avarlótëiel (Still trying to figure out exactly how to say this one... you usually get several variations on the elf names) Hobbit lass name is Goodchild Proudfoot from Greenfields (I originally got Belladonna Underhill from Gamwich which I prefer so I'm sticking with that... Also had Amarantha Banks from Michel Delving ) Dwarven Name is Corin Ironmirth (also got Glîm Woodenplate and Palin Coalarmour) Orkish Name is Krumbog the Smasher -also got Muzrat the Insane ((yeah)) and Ishthak the Destroyer ((scarey))) Have Fun finding your middle-earthen selves!! I apparently am an Evil Avari, and i thought my secret was safe. Like the elvish name Telrhos, when i work out the pronunciation, find lots of names in Tolkien hard to say, but then have same trouble with native english. Orc is Shargash the Squasher, loke that, may need a cat called Shargash.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/elf.gif) well in the Red Book of Westmarch (was that a magazine? lol) I am listed as a Muddy-booted Spirit. (Shazbot! And I just bought these boots! :what: )
The elven name that seems to call out to me is Anduialiel. (The Andui part sounds like water I think. Maybe I'd better get a new set of goggles?) In the Shire, I am known as Pervinca Hilldweller from Stock. (I wonder what my portfolio looks like?) The dwarf part of me is Oin Cloudbrow - I must worry a lot - sounds typical. I really laughed when I saw my orc name - Burzklash the Paunch. I don't EVEN wanna go there! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) |

These are all great!! And at least I know I'm not the only one who is having a problem pronouncing the Elf names - I'm going to have to go to another site I know of that will help out with that...
I heard Viggo learned to speak elvish really well - too bad he's not here to help us out! -------------------- ![]() Av/Sig by Bella "So my choice is 'Or Death'?!? Well... I'll have the chicken then!" ~ Eddie Izzard |

Hellcat - You can try it again if you either used or didn't use your middle name. It will even change if you only use an initial.
